ThrottleBodyCrackedHoses

2012 RTS (Red, of course) engine missing, erratic auto shifting, and quitting at idle frequently.
Then running OK for a while. Then badly again.
Fault codes P2279 Intake air leak
P0172 System too rich bank 1.
P0175 System too rich bank 2.
Dan at Simi, Ca. Can-Am found:
Hoses at both sides of throttle body to manifold air pressure sensor broken/cracked.
Replaced hoses with stock, no fault codes, runs great.

Hoses should last a bit longer than this! Might be a good thing to check.

Matt.

Yup!
The underbody heat takes them apart...
Use silicon replacements, and you'll find that they last a WHOLE lot longer!

Replacement hose

The shop mechanic used Honda hose stock, no Can-Am at hand.
The bike is running perfectly.
