Unhappy vibration issues with the 2013 ST Limited

Is anyone else having issues with a vibration in reverse and starting off. BRP says they have not heard of any others having this issue.

Yeah, what kind of vibration? You can't go fast enough in REVERSE to get a real vibration that I know of. You however might be feeling the belt maybe. Have you checked it for tightness? Too loose or to tight.

Do everything as if your life depends on it. It COULD!

more information is needed, before any useful conversation will be able to occur...
Where is the vibration manifesting itself?
Your hands? Feet? Seat?
If you rev the engine in neutral; is it there?
A very early guess from me, would lay it on the engagement of the clutches, but that, and two bucks MIGHT get you a cup of coffee!

I too have issues with my 2013 RT-Limited. I start up the bike, put it in gear and as soon as I open the throttle, the whole bike shake and vibrate, from the seat to the handlebar. I have to give it just enough gas to move it a few feet than I let the bike roll down the driveway a few more feet then I put it back in neutral, engage the parking brake and let it run a little while longer before I can put in gear again and leave!
It doesn't happen all the time and sometimes the shaking occurs and won't happen the next day, and sometimes it does! It seems to be more frequent if my bike sits for a week in the garage. It started to happen a couple of months after I bought the bike. I've put a little over 10,000 miles on it now and it continues to shake at start up every so often.

My wife has a 2013 ST and my cousin a 2014 ST and they both do it. It's just after you first start up and then doesn't do it when it's warmed up. It shakes the whole machine and you think something's wrong but thinking it's just part of warm up and fluids getting distributed.

I will as the question: How many miles are on the machines and have the throttle bodies been sync'd? I know when the engine is cold a few vibs come through, but I have never had the entire bike shake. How long has it been since the plugs were replace and have the valves been checked.

We check the sync every 12,000 miles and I have replaced the plugs at 25,000. Valve have been checked, but no adjustments have been needed.

Good Luck

vibration in reverse when cold.

Just bought a 2014 ST limited with 9000 km and having the same issue. Feels like the clutch is grinding but once it warms up a bit all seems fine. Taking it to the dealer next week to have checked.
