2020 f3 t

I have a new 2020 f3 t with about 700 miles on it . I have 2 questions

1. Between 45 and 55 mph thee is a high pitch whistle. Not obvious what is causing it.

2. I have the sport wind screen. Can anyone recommend a better screen for wind protection.

Thanks in advance for your help

If you are still in first gear when you hear the whistle.......you need to shift !!
(Sorry, couldn't resist.)

Actually since it is new, you should be having your dealer test it out.
What gear ARE you in when you hear this ?
Does it do it in more than one gear at that speed ??

Then I suggest you check to see if CanAm has a bigger replacement shield to fit that model.
Then compare the size and cost to whatever other replacements you find.
It is often hard (or impossible) to find after-market parts like that for a brand new model for a while and CanAm might be your only choice.

Doesn't sound right to me.
Some bikes have a transmission whine that is "normal" but don't remember seeing anybody mention it related to Spyders.
Could be wind noise too maybe.

I encourage you to have a dealer check it out.

I have the same problem on my 2016 RT. My mechanic told me it was belt harmonics. Makes some kind of sense. Had the same issue at certain speeds on a Harley Street Glide too. Over time I just got used to the sound and now ignore it as much as possible. Turn up the tunes.

If that is true, there are after-market belt tensioners available to "fix" that problem.
They are fairly inexpensive and easy to install.
Even CanAm has one but it is junk.

A simple belt tension adjustment might help too.

I had same issue and I purchased the Blue Ridge shield from Can Am.

The F3-LTD Freedom windshield has good reviews. Check it out on the LA Monster Garage website.
