Well you can complain all day long but that won't accomplish anything useful.
NO company can be expected to warranty it's products forever.
In this context, 10 years is close to forever.
Do the right thing here and get the codes read.
And then contact BRP or ask the shop to show you the "service bulletin" or recall notice.
It is possible that you have something different that has failed.
It is also possible that you have the failure in the bulletin and it will be covered.
Typing more posts on here, or other places like this, will do you NO good.
