That's a good question... I guess that I never gave a thought if my ATV lift would be able to pick this thing up... probably not without modifying the lifting bracketry... Maybe somebody with a welder can tell us what they managed to cook up???

When I was working in the last motorcycle shop, one of our lifts had the extensions for atv's... it was the pro model with the drop out panel to work on Wings and ST's
i work on them at my shop. we got a new lift that is big enough but it's too much of a pain to have to remove the from clamp every time i work on one. i need to get a designated spyder lift. my shop wont fork up the cash for another lift. so, for now, i will just continue laying on the ground for the oil changes. lol.

If you're going to make modifications to a bike lift, don't forget to keep it in the back of your mind that the spyder sin't carying its weight equally amongst the three wheels... You'll need a real stable platform from which to be pushing these trikes skyward.

I tried using a 300# digital bathroom scale to establish the c.g. of my RT. Unfortunately, each front wheel registers over the max of the scale.
I've got the RT up on front ramps right now for airbag work and am jacking the rear of the RT at the rear hole located on the underside of the frame. This is as far aft as you can safely jack, and it's not too far aft of the center of gravity. Not surprisingly, the RT is front heavy.
