Has anyone installed music on their spyder? I would apprecate pics and ideas.

Charlie Brown here....I installed a Shark brand radio (MSR 3080PB) 250watt and it works very good. I mounted the main receiver on the left cowling. The speakers mounted on eac side of the cowling. The sound is 250watts and at 70 sounds quite clear. The sound funnels out from the handle bar center. I am quite pleased with it. Run the wires under the seat to the battery. Ensure they wont get pinched by the seat frame. This radio is also used in small watercraft. Check the internet for more info. Last years model was only 150 watts.

I absolutely love the Jensen JHD910. It is so MUCH better than my old Shark. Had to buy new speakers because the wiring harness is a 2-wire per speaker lash up whereas the Shark speakers are a single coax wire.

As you can see from the pics, the knobology for the Jensen is a significant improvement over the Shark. And they are "glove friendly." In addition, it has the NOAA weather band.

I mounted the speakers on the sides of the center Y panel which brought them about 9" closer than where I had the Shark speakers mounted

The velcro below the key is for my iPod which plugs into the Jensen

I popped out the Spyder button on the rear to mount the post antenna. Was debating a whip for better reception but decided the post fit the lines of the bike better.

All in all, I feel that the Jensen is well worth the increased cost.

That is so awesome . I been just using my ipod on my iphone.

It works well and I just use the headphones.

I would really like to know the cost of this set up and where to get the radio and speakers from. Also It might now be water proof that does concern me,

I listen to my iPod with custom made ear phones. Used regular ear phones, but was getting a lot of wind noise, so I switched. I don't wear a helmet most of time, so wind noise was an issue. For my next trick, I plan on reinstalling my sirus radio w/audio.

Has anyone come across a dongle that would plug into the RT system out put so you can pick up your tunes or radio on a bluetooth? Please not J&M way to much money for such a simple task.

I am doing a hidden Style system ... I will have pictures when I complete it. I am using my Zune to do this, because it has AM/FM Built in and holds all Music and Videos ( although watching Videos is Not recommended .. haha )

I went with the Zune, because its extremely light weight, it has the AM/FM abilities, WiFi for Weather Updates Via Weather.com ( since my Phone is a Mobile Hotspot ), I can have all my playlists, and it has an Amazing Battery Life.

I will post a step by step process of how I did mine. as soon as I finish it.
