That’s because the boot’s chassis is constructed from a rich, smooth full grain leather hide all the way up to the 7-1/2” (5-1/2” for the ladies version) tall uppers. Though there’s a lacing system akin to conventional boots, a pair of zips located on the lateral sides of each boot, make it so you can get your feet in and out quickly, without having to fiddle with the laces. Your foot rests on a comfortable padded liner which itself is sat atop a durable sole with a classic tread pattern. Inside the sole is a tempered steel shank for a rigid chassis that gives the boot a workmanlike feel in all conditions.
