Default Cortech Latigo RR Motorcycle Gloves

For street or track, Cortech Latigo RR gloves offer safety and feel in one very reasonably priced package. Made entirely from leather front-to-back, and pre-curved from the factory, Latigo RR gloves feel broken-in straight out of the box. Extra layers of leather have been applied in all the right places too, like the knuckles, palms and the sides of both the pinkies and thumbs which helps to stave off injury should your hand(s) get trapped under yourself or the bike in a fall. And just to be sure that your hands were well protected, Cortech also inserted a layer of Kevlar along the palm on the inside of the glove for extra insurance.

Towards the rear, a generous gauntlet easily bridges the gap between the wrist and the sleeve of your leathers or jacket where segmented armor plates are integrated for added impact protection. TPU-molded armor plates have been inserted over the joints of finger #’s one, two and three while a large plate covers the knuckles. This plate also includes intakes molded into its forward-facing side that, along with the perforated leather upper, provides suitable ventilation for the wearer.

Perforated leather is used between the fingers and on top of the additional foam armor so as not to compromise abrasion resistance while still being highly ventilated. And because the pinkie is especially prone to road rash in a fall, an extra layer of leather covers the outer seam for extra safety.

Pre-curved fingers bristle with TPU armor inserts over the knuckles. Each piece of armor is surrounded with an additional layer of leather over the fingers for extra abrasion resistance.

The base of the palm gets an extra layer of leather that has two pieces of soft armor to protect the superior distal protrusions of the radius and ulna. It also protects the wrist strap from abrasion, reducing the likelihood of the gloves coming off in a sliding type of crash.

An extra layer of leather also covers the outer-facing side of the pinkie.

In the interest of providing a secure grip at the controls, patches of material on the middle palm and two finger tips have been impregnated with a silicone grid for a positive feel, rain or shine.
