This compact HD motorsports camera can be mounted just about anywhere using sticky-back mounts (three are included in this package) so you can record the action easily from your preferred viewing angle. Using your iPhone or Android smartphone, a built-in Bluetooth communicator allows easy setup as you’re able to see what your camera is looking at before you start filming. And, there are no proprietary output jacks anywhere on the Contour+ camera, just connect to any HDMI compatible viewing device and review your work right away or watch it in real time. For those so equipped, you can even stream live video action wirelessly to a remote point using the HDMI output! For production-minded users who like to do their own video editing and want high-quality sound to go with it, a 2.5mm microphone jack is built-in to the Contour+ chassis. Contour understands that it’s not always possible to mount your camera on a surface that’s going to be perfectly parallel to the ground. To get around this, the camera itself can be rotated within its housing for a perfectly flat view on tape.


Here, you can see the slot for the included battery (secured behind red tab), USB, memory card and HDMI video output.


Another nice feature of the Contour video camera is the large slider button that’s on top of the chassis. Even if you can’t see the camera (eg., mounted on your helmet) this makes it very easy to know if your camera has been activated, even when wearing a gloved hand so you won’t miss recording any of the action.


For advanced videographers or those that don’t want to wait to show off their video, simply plug in the included HDMI cable to see your video on the big screen. Getting into something that’s roll cage equipped or perhaps you want to attach the camera to the skid of your helicopter? This little kit is the ticket, plus, you’ll be able to point the camera where you need.
