An old leather jacket is like a good friend: you get along great and you’re almost always on the same page - you stick together. Alpinestars’ Drift jacket has the feel of an old friend with the added benefit of having just graduated bodyguard school. High-quality 1.1mm full grain leather is used for the outer shell which has been distressed to safely give it a well-worn feel without weakening the integrity of the material. It’s well suited for abrasion resistance. Just under this, in the elbows and shoulders, fully-removable CE-certified Alpinestars Bio Armor is used to attenuate impact energy. In addition to the comfortably-positioned armor in the joints, PE-padded chest and back protectors have been added for full coverage protection.

Ventilation is provided with perforations under the armpits and by two zippered closures in front of the shoulders. On the inside, a removable vest liner can be stowed in the smallest of places when not in use. The neck and waist closures are lined with a soft microfiber material which is very comfortable against the skin. Plenty of pockets on the inside and out, permit more than enough storage for what would normally be found in your jeans and casual jacket. Overall, this motorcycle jacket is cut with a very relaxed fit, arms are sewn straight, making it comfortable around town when you’re away from the bike.
