Default inspection sticker placement

Just brought my wifes new RT-S home from WV. Sat. now have to get Pa. inspected. Just wondering where is a good place to put the sticker, hate to mess up any of the body panels.

Does the sticker need to be in the front?

I once made an aluminum plate that I mounted behind my license plate. It had a tab that stuck out from the side of the license plate were I put a parking sticker. When I didn't need the sticker anymore, I just pulled the extra plate off.

I'm not sure what Pennsylvania's rules are regarding sticker placement. New York wants it on the left side up front where it can be seen...

On Pa. bikes they are suppose to be on the left fork but I don't think they are real strict about it. I had a custom bike that I mouted a plate in front of the left foot peg and never had any problems. I just don't want a sticker on a body panel messing it up. I guess I'll see on Sat. where we can put it.

Well, got off work in time to get the Spyder inspected today. They put the sticker on the swingarm/ belt cover, said anywhere on the left side would be ok. Works for me, can hardly see it unless your looking for it.

Default On the left shock...

have to bend down just to see it.

I couldn't find it... the dealer had to tell me where it was!

I agree I am a certified Insp Mechanic here in PA the are not strict on placement just paperwork we have to do. So left or right front you will be fine.
