I haven't heard of this type of problem before now...  Have you contacted the dealership? That's very dangerous and we wouldn't want to lose one of our own to something like this. Be safe, and certainly let us know what you find out.

got about 2000 miles on it. last week it shut off on me as i was shifting 1st to second. this morning did it again. VERY DANGEROUS as I am getting right in to traffic. any one out there having this issue cause its a real bummer. It has semiautomatic so no clutch....
