Just wanted to say hey. Looking at getting an RT for the wife and I in the near future. I have been riding on two wheels for 10 years now (Sportsters, and Dual Sports). Wife refuses to get on two wheels with me but wants me to get a RT after we took a test ride on one. Will not be getting rid of my current Sportster, just an addition.

Welcome to our little corner!
So you tested an RT; what did you think of the ride and handling? If your Missus rides it, you'll have to get used to her getting all of the attention!

Ride was nice, handling a little touchy but nothing that I could not get used to. Very minimal input needed on the bars to turn/corner.

My wife was the same. First corner and she was ready to walk home. After a demo ride on a Spyder, she was all in. We ended up with the RT Ltd and she loves going for rides now.

Now she wants to get her motorcycle license so she can ride up front...

Now does that mean that you're going to end up on the Navigator's pillion?? Or do you have other options???

Welcome to the party low country! I'll just go on record saying I'll be jealous when you get your RT. I love my RS, but wifey won't ride with me. She definitely would with an RT though. Super comfy!

Welcome, Lowcountry!

Try loosening up your grip on the steering. Its not quite as touchy if you relax and enjoy the ride and try not to grip it too hard.

Your wife may want to take the MSF course and get her license that way; I understand it can be a challenge to pass the class on a Spyder.
