Just joined the forum yesterday. I am in the process of purchasing a RT limited. Have ridden only 2 wheelers for many years. Had an opportunity to take a demo on the RT and loved it. Going with it and not a trike. Does anyone tour with a trailer? If so, any comments would be appreciated.

We're glad that you found us Dan! There are lots of folks touring with trailers, but which type of trailer are you thinking of? The BRP 622 to carry stuff, or a camping trailer? My Missus has her own idea of travel; camping is when room service shuts down at midnight! I've never towed, but from what I've heard the 622 tows real nice...

Welcome, Dan!

Haven't towed with the Spyder, the husband tows with the BMW if we're going for an extended trip.

Looking forward to pics when you get your ride!

Lots of folks say that they don't even know it's back there... (That's got to be good; right?)

Welcome Dan! I have an RS with no trailer, so I am of no help. :-) But I'm not far from you (I'm in Albuquerque). If you're ever passing through give me a shout!

Andy

That is a good thing. Have towed for years with Wings & Harleys but it looks like the Spyder will do the job best.
