New RTS

[Three not 8]

We just pulled the trigger on a 2011 RTS. Orbital Blue. We are in suburban Charleston SC and were avid GoldWingers until we discovered something that is every bit as comfortable,feature packed, and you can't drop it. (former GoldWingers will understand)Will be posting with questions about our computer on wheels. Meanwhile WOOT!

The owners event is in Maggie Valley, NC this year. I am looking to see about coming out to it June 17th-18th, I am
already attending Spyderfest in Cuba, MO at the end of April, so not sure if I can take off work that much time, but
will see. Maybe get to see you at one of the events Enjoy your ride !

We had an 86 GL1200A that was a sweet ride and hard for me to give up. But not all that hard. We too are planning on Maggie Valley in June. That will be the warmup for the trek to Missouri in July. Will be in Moberly, not Cuba but 2200 miles round trip just the same.

Ah... the 1200 Aspencade...
I had an '83 1100 Interstate and spent WAY too much cash on making it even more perfect than it was when it came out of the dealership...

Truthfull though; I don't miss it at all now that I'm "Spyderfied"!

I hope all your good comments about the RT are true. I just pulled the trigger on a 2011 viper red RT-S. I test drove a 2010 and was impressed. Rides like my four wheeler.
