Default Power Aprilia is getting from the 998 cc Rotax

Been doing a little web searching and found that Aprilia is getting these sort of numbers on the Rotax 998 cc engine:

The RSV Mille and limited-edition RSV Mille Factory are high performance V-Twin powered motorcycles made by Aprilia with a 143 HP 998 cc engine built by the Austrian company Rotax.

Would one of these Aprilia motors bolt into a Spyder?

Yes they should. Been told this is exactly the same engine. With 50hp more and 6 shifts. We miss the 6th shift because of the reverse.
But then you do not have nanny and think you have also problems with the rest of the electronic.

With the added weight of the spyder vs the Aprilla , stroking the engine producing more torque would give better results than searching for pure HP . Torque is usually overrated in the motorcycling world but in this case its the way to go .

Default Might look into

if the Can Am 998 mill will accept the 1060 piston up grade, it is a fairly common Aprilia upgrade with good increases to torque, HP, and still keeps engine reliability.

So does anyone know the differences between our motor and the aprilia version? cams? pistons? or totally different major components?

I plan to do the aerocharger on mine very soon, but why not figure this out? then put the aerocharger on top of a 140hp n/a setup (assuming the compression isn't anything crazy to make the extra power)

I've got to agree with Jake; increasing the stroke will put more torque on the table... I think that's what these rides could use.
(Although 50 more horsepower is almost NEVER a bad thing!)
