Now i have been through the manuals that i have, and all of the literature that I have says the same thing. But it also says that if the motor is cold the oil lever should be about 1/2 way up the safe zone on the dipstick. I ask my dealer about this and they told me that when the engine is cold the oil should be just barely visible on the dipstick.
Now my question is who should i believe? After the dealer charging me almost $700 to tell me that I was causeing my problem, should I go off what they dealer is saying or the literature from Can am?
I guess I'd call the Can-Am customer service number first.... to find out why a dealer would tell you to not fill per the owners manual, and second why the "repair" was not covered under warranty.

Default the final story.... I hope

Well, after spending another day with the dealer, they finally acknowledged that there is an oil leak, and it is not because of something that i have done. The dealer took the air box off and cleaned all of the vent linkes, appartently they did not find any oil in the front lines, but they did find some in the rear ones. Also they did find one vent that was blocked with sealant, and they removed that, topped off the oil and added some dye to the oil. After all of this we might have the problem fixed, but we will see. At least if the leak comes back we might be able to track the source.....
