SE5 transmission problems ????

I just bought a RT-S yesterday and had it delivered. I rode it once yesterday and today. While riding, I came to red light, down shifted and as I stopped the transmission went out. The bike totally shut down. I could not get in back in gear, neutral or first. The rear tire was locked, I had to have it towed. Has anyone else had problems with their semi-auto transmission? And is this a reoccurring problem? I have a 2011 model.

Ijust bought a 2011 RT-S yesterday and today the transmission went out. Came to a red light shifting down and came to a stop and the bike totally shut down. Could not put it in neutral, first or anything. The back wheel lockes up. Can't move the bike and had it towed. Has anyone had this problem with the SE5 semi-auto transmission? Is this a reoccurring problem?

Was it a sudden "Oh Crap!" stop? I have heard that sometimes under real hard braking this has happened...
Have your dealer check the gear position sensor...
