Default Can you put a manual clutch on a SE5?

I have been wondering if it is possible to put a manual clutch on a SE5 transmission. It would be nice to coast up to red lights.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure that I follow where you're going with this... They release down into neutral pretty early. The point of the SE5 transmission was so that you wouldn't have to be attending to a manual clutch...
Maybe there's an SM5 in your future??

I don't know if the 2010's are different from the 2011's, but my bike will downshift all the way to a stop.

Really don't think you can do that, how would you take care of the hydraulic pressure in the trans or clutch? I dont think a rekluse would work cause you already have a centrifugal clutch in the pack.

Let's face it; it'd be way easier to simply trade in and get an SM-5 equipped bike... Let them do the hard work and heavy thinking for you!

Why? A properly functioning SE5 will downshift all the way to the stop. Given the engineering that you would have to reverse, as was said, get a SM5 and be done with it. But.. If you're happy and you know it.....
