Default Seals on shaft in trany on backwards

Dealer noticed oil leak around guard under engine around the driver foot pegs. Only 3300 miles on RT and CANNOT take on trip to VA which was planned for 6 mo.
I am not mechanical, but there is a shaft in the transmission that has two oil seals on it. Shaft was removable after diss-assembly of the side plate on drivers right. Dealer found BOTH seals were backwards allowing oil to flow past therefore causing the leak.
Also, oil was JUST showing on the dipstick but, NO indication on display or light let me know that the oil was at that level.
BRP was notified and asked for VIN number. Will there be a recall or bulletin????

RT only has 3300 miles on it.
