Not a good start

Hi,

Just picked up a new 2011 Rss se5 this morning. Was able to put on about 70 miles till it didnt want to start. I checked and made sure all the steps were being followed to start it, parking brake engaged, red switch on, hit the M button and pressed the brake just in case I left it in gear when I stopped it last. It flashes the oil light , parking brake, and also the ! sign in the display. Ive tried re engaging the parking brake but no good. Only thing I can tell when I click the start button is a faint humming sound for about 3-5 seconds in the center of the bike.

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.

On a side note the 70 miles I did go were a blast and it currently looks great sitting out side my condo!

the lights are normal it takes about 30 sec each time you want to start it as it goes through a diagnostic everytime

whirring now not sure about that

after you turn the bike off you will hear a high pitch sound coming from it for about 40 minutes but that's normal too
