I have a spyder 2008. Yesterday, I took the battery out and put it in, the engine can start, but I can only ride at 30mph, no more faster. Before that, it ran normally. Can anyone help me with that problem?
I don't think it is your Battery that is giving you a problem If you can't get past 30 mph you must not be able to get out of 3rd gear if best possible 4th gear sounds like a problem with the gear control selector (Assuming you have a SE 5 model) this could be the E C U is in limp mode if that is the case you won't be able to shift past 3rd gear just a couple of places to look at
