Default Mounting my Garmin 5000

Hello,
I am new to CamAm, we have RT touring and I want to mount my Garmin and wondering how to do it. I have the wiring harness to get power to the mount that can be hooked to the battery. So the real problem is how to mount it. Help.

Kewlmetal makes a universal bracket that mounts on the center of the handlebars.
Can-Am Spyder GPS Mount Bracket - $24.95
I picked up a RAM mount for my Garmin Nuvi, but with the universal mount, there is lots of potential for other things.
I'm looking for other places to mount a RAM ball base for other items.

This is interesting: $1200 for a Zumo 660 and a mount just seems a bit pricey to this cheap guy... I'd like to know about options...

Where did you mount the ram ball on the RT-S?

I mounted it on the Kewlmetal bracket on the handlebars.

Made my own from parts ordered on the internet for my Garmin Nuvi.
It works well for the <$30.00 I had to spend
Good luck C-YA RL
