Perhaps a little more information will be helpful...
Do you have a GS/RS or an RT?
Which light are you installing; the Can Am accessory, or an aftermarket?

Personally, i need to find where it is supposed to mount. I'm considering using one of my spare led strips as my cargo light. Would probably work better.

Kewlmetal makes one that they show mounted up near the latch... It looks as if it'd throw the light in the right direction.
