Can you use the iPhone 4 instead of an iPod for music with the iPod cord on the RT??

Good question! Will the cord plug into the Iphone? If it does; give it a try and let us know what happens... I'm PRETTY sure that nothing should go wrong...

I don't think it will work

The plug is designed for the Ipod and I don't think it will fit the Ifone

Also since the built in software is for the Ipod I think it will cause issues

but since I don't have one I really can't say, but why ask for problems?

Id be surprised if it didnt work. just dont expect to be able to answer your phone calls before it goes to voice mail.

The dock connector on the iphone, ipod, and ipad are all the same and yes, they will all work...
