Default Luggage Rack

couple pics of my new luggage rack made by Inspector Gadget

Home - Can-Am Spyder RT Accessories

would have prefered the chrome to match the bike but price was a little too high so got the silver one which looks great

oh and no lights Bob

I was looking at those also... but the cost of the chrome one was...startling!

yeah i know.. was my same feelings, the silver one looks good though but not as good as a proper chrome one would be..

but Inspector Gadget makes good toys..

I was thinking chrome for the back though because of the trim pieces on the trunk...
I guess I can wait now until the bike is pounded back into shape!

Just a hint on the luggage rack, you might want to install the decorative washers on it so the deck dont crack around the supports. Had this happen on my wing. Gives extra support , especially if you put anything on it. They aren't expensive , couple of bucks and worth every penny. I do like the look of the rack also .

The rack was designed to hold 20 lbs---which is the load limit for the rear compartment. I have had a rack on the back of my RT for 8 months now and it shows no sign of cracking. The legs were designed to fit the contours of the rear lid to alleviate any strain as lonf as the rack is nor overloaded.
If you know of or have a problem with any cracking, please advise me and I will revisit the design for possible updates.
