Sat radio

anyone know why BRP would put the factory Sat radio antenne inside the trunk?

I been told they need to be outside with unobstructed view of the sky?

tried it last week and ended up listening to local stations even though they faded in and out.. not as bad as the Sat radio though..

I wanted to move the antenne to the dash, but seems wire is not long enough so will have to move to the top of the trunk lid..
