What is the best type of cruise control to put on a 2010 SE5 RS. I have had my spyder about 6 months but as of yet have not made any modifications. I got a power adapter and trunk liner for christmas and meed to install those. SO what i'm trying to say is I'm just a newbe. any help will be greatly appreciated. oh yeah I bought my 2010 used and it only had 97 miles on it. I got a great deal.

well I guess the "best" one would be electronic, but I think those are expensive

Kuryakyn makes a real simple one that just kinda clamps around the throttle

Default Thanks

Thanks I will look at it. I have never had a motorcycle before so I don't know how those work, but I'm sure I can figure it out.

I have electronic on mine

I would assume once you get to your cruising speed you just clamp it around the throttle and end cap and it holds it in place

But that is just a guess though..

the clamp on cruise controls that I have used in the past really just hold the throttle in place reducing the amount of grip required on the throttle. I used to set them so they would still be pretty easy to twist the throttle without having to release the clamp. Helped a lot, but I sure like the electronic cruise control on the RTs.
