Default Picking up my spider on Friday

I purchase a 2008 Spyder GS premier SM5 and i am going to pick it up on friday.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if i would be able to load it in the haul trailer that is only 4' 9" wide by slightly turning the wheels and getting one wheel in first and then another.

Has anyone tried this? The trailer dimensions is 6x12, but the ramp opening is 4'x9" and the spider dimensions is 59.3"

Help.

I got an unbelievable deal and could not pass it up.

I doubt if it will fit as you need to get it onboard before you can turn the wheels..

I hope it works out for you and wlecome to training wheel riding.. hehe

You need at least 6ft width uhaul has 6*10 enclosed trailer that will work. I hauled mine from Philly to cincy in it.

Sorry to complicate your day, but this IS all good advice... For what these babies cost, you sure don;t want to take a chance of losing it off the trailer...
A 6' by 10' trailer would be perfect since it'll give you some fighting room around the bike for getting things strapped down securely...

Congrats on joining the Spyder community, and I agree with the rest, that trailer's going to need to be replaced, sorry to say.

Post some pics when you get yours home!! I'm the proud owner of an '08 GS SM5, yellow, because of a really smokin' deal. I understand! I had my husband gear up and drive it home.... I wanted to get used to her before taking her on the trafficked roads, and he's a pro.
