How does the Spyder hold its value?
Just went to look at a 2009 GS, manual transmission, touring shield, sport rack and backrest. They are asking 18,000 for it
Thats damn near more than a new one.

Thats probably about a 1000.00 worth of accessorys new. But $18,000.00 I would do some more looking around before i would buy if i was you. But thats just my opinion.

No way will I give that. I could buy new for that price

This dealer has got to have some numbers screwed up somewhere. I have dealt with these guys for a long time. My parting words were for them to check their numbers then we can talk.

Nobody ever said that they've got to get what they're asking for them!
Point out to them that you'd rather have a new one for that price and see what they say...

Default Used Spyders

Check searchallcraigs.com and pick your region. Lots of used for sale. I bought a 2008 RS for $13,000 in 2009 1,000 miles and lots of accessories, and a 2011 RT-S a month ago for $18,000 with 225 miles [at the dealers still for $26,000 !] JNRIII@msn.com in Dobbs Ferry, NY

I have an '09 GS SE5 that was less than $14,500 (new) when bought 4/10 which included all that you listed +. Keep talking price but what I've seen they will still pull in $11K for the SM5.
