Question Charging RPM?

Any one know at what RPM the battery starts to actually charge at?

On my 08 rs, I have an external volt guage. It seems to vary, somrtimes it charges 14 volts at idel, next time not till 3500 rpm.

yeah I have one of those also, that's why I was wondering

it also monitors the starting performance of the battery and let you know how it is doing and will let you know when the battery is going bad.

called a Battery Bug

Pal, When you're lit up you'd need to spin that engine at about 1,500,000,000,000 rpm to start putting some juice back in the battery!

nah I just need to keep the fusion generator running and it needs a small battery

Actually when I had my 'Wing; I usually ran in 4th to keep the revs up enough to feed the battery...
