I have installed an audio system, and it wasnt that difficult. The question to ask your husband is, would he be able to wire a stereo into a vehicle. If the answer is Yes, then he should be fine. Just make sure not to overload electrical thats connected to the electronics. I ran a Direct feed back to the battery and put it on a relay controlled by the ignition on the spyder.
