Default How much weight have you towed behind your Spyder?

So I've been looking at the little popup tent trailers to tow behind my '11 RT Ltd. The manual says not more than 500 pounds maximum for a trailer. Just wondering what you all think about that weight limit?

I have seen some references to electric brakes on bike trailers. Not sure what to think about that. Might be a source of excitement if they are not adjusted correctly.

Also, wondering if the SE5 transmission can handle much weight. While playing around in trailer towing mode, it really seems to change the shifting points which would help towing a trailer.

Dave,
I've been seeing ONE brand of trailer consistently mentioned on another forum... Let me go find it for you this morning!

Thanks Bob. I am seriously looking at some of the popup style campers for motorcycles.

I looked into the Aspen and was seriously impressed with it... That is until the Missus decided that "camping" had to involve room service and Jacuzzis...
