Default First Distance Ride!

I made my first distance/group ride yesterday, 136 miles.....and loved every one! It was kinda of a workout for me though.....I'm not 20 yrs old any more. (-: I just read on the proper way to corner so I do need to practice on that. I'm looking forward to my next ride! Love my Spyder!

Oh goodness, we went all over....Carsonville, Sandusky, etc. Half the time I didn't even know where we were. Nope, no pics, sorry. I'm the one that always take pics when we're out riding but now that I'm on my own, I totally forgot about the camera. Not sure that I'd try to take any anyway, kinda hard to take pics and ride too. That gets me to thinkin....I need to come up with a camera holder with a remote on my handle bars, one that I can pan side to side/up and down and snap the pic using my left hand.

Glad you're enjoying yourself! I'm the one who usually takes the pics, too, and there haven't been nearly as many since I got the Spyder as there were when we rode two-up on the motorcycles.

We ended up doing about a 145 mile "twist of the wrist" today... but we forgot the cameras!
We were experimenting with a set of GMRS radios to see if we'd like an intercom system... Now I've got more shopping to do in time for Christmas!

We pulled short of 160 miles over Sunday and today. Our bluetooth system between the helmets works out well, as long as we both charge them and neither of us leaves it turned on. Much easier than having to plug in and unplug every time we get on or off the bikes.
