Default Who is interested in the following aftermarket products??

Hey everyone,

I own a small company that currently supplies OEM boat builders with billet products and accessories. We are trying to diversify and saw a small niche with the CAN-AM Spyder crowd. After doing some brief market research, we are interested in engineering and manufacturing the following:

-Driver Peg Sets / Brake Pedal located appx. 3-4 inches forward of there existing position to help straighted the driver's lower leg.

-Driver and Passenger Floor Boards

-1", 2", and 3" handle bar risers

-Machined billet Stainless Steel axle nuts

-Multi piece REAL carbon fiber trim kit offered in several colors.

All parts are CNC machined from either 6061-T6 alum or 304series SS. Please send your feedback so we can get and idea for the demand on the above listed products. Thank you all very much for your time and efforts in advance. Enjoy the ride!

I'd be interested in the driver peg and brake pedal relocation set. Also consider a set to relocate the passenger pegs.

I would be interested in these two for sure:

1) Driver Peg Sets / Brake Pedal located appx. 3-4 inches forward of there existing position to help straighted the driver's lower leg.

2) Driver and Passenger Floor Boards

I was interested enough to take pictures of these home-made ones at the homecoming, note the heal-toe shifter and relocated brake pedal:

Here was another one I saw that was a little less eloquent, but certainly functional.

I sat on a bike with the BRP riser, and liked it. I think it is a 1" riser, I'm 5"10, so slightly taller risers for folks who are shorter than that would welcomed.

I would have to see what trim pieces you are talking about, but in my opinion, the parts that are currently black would look sweet in black carbon fiber if that is what you are proposing.

-Driver and Passenger Floor Boards

-1", 2", and 3" handle bar risers

Hello, I still have yet to buy a spider, but have test driven it many times and do look forward to purchasing one. I think it still has a few too many bugs for my dollar, yet. I don't know if you can handle it, but 1 thing I think this really needs is a tour pulley, not sure how much smaller than the stock rear pulley but I can't imagine it needing more than 5 teeth removed. The RPM's are a little high for my liking and the fuel economy is a little poor.

I too would love to see these new products come out. I also have not yet taken the dive to get a Spyder, reason too many bugs and I am over 6 feet tall and can not sit with my legs bent so far back for long and handle bar too low as well. On less I see floor boards brake lever extension and fix for the bugs especially the SE5 gear problem I think I might not get a Spyder. I love my toys and at the moment I have a Kawasaki Jet Ski 1100 a Suzuki Boulevard M109R and a Suzuki Burgman 650 and a few other toys and for $17,000.00 I can get a lot more motorcycle that does not have bugs.

Update March 27th.
I picked up a new Yellow 2009 SE5 last week, could not wait anymore. So far I love it but sure need these upgrades.
