Oh... There's no doubt that a medical condition can change all of the dance routines! (46 years as a type one diabetic...)
By "low core body temperature"; is there a measureable level that you tolerate better than others?
(Not to be TOO nosey!)

Not nosey at all, I have no problem talking to people and educating them. How else do you learn. Basically, if I start running a fever or my body thinks I am running a fever my immune system is activated. Because of the MS, that means my immune systems starts to attack everything no just invaders, this includes my brain and spinal cord. I currently have 16 scars on my brain and one in my spinal cord from these attacks which is why I live with limitations and why I am so excited about the Spyder, when I am on it, my limitations are gone. So I have to keep a core body temperature of 98.6 or lower to keep my immune system in check.

My husband and I have cooling vests that we used when we rode to Georgia in August a few years back. We soaked them in the ice chest, put them on under our riding jackets, and off we went. Each time we stopped we soaked them again. Sure made the ride more bearable! I'd be doing that to ride to work, but it doesn't go well with "dryclean only" garments...

I did not know that MS was so nasty...

The vest sounds very interesting to me. Looking forward to your review..

To BiteMi and all,
I live in the AZ desert. The TechNiche cooling vests are phenomenal. It's amazing how much water they soak up without dripping. I wear mine under a Tourmaster mesh jacket without the line that breathes awesomely. Stay very cool at 110 deg. Shirt will be slightly damp when you get to your destination, but staying cool is worth it. Take an extra shirt along if you want. AZ typical dry heat is different then what the folks back east have experienced in the last week or two. High humidity here is about 40%. Humidity will affect the vest's cooling abilities. They are cheap comfort. Paid $35 on ebay for a XXXL vest. BUY ONE, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Thanks for this information!
I was just trying to figure out the best way to mount some water bottles out back for the Missus when the temperatures get nasty around here... The vest requires much less mechanical ability!!
