E faults with no dealer withend 900 miles

Hi I live in Juneau Alaska and the closest dealers are eather in Ancorage or Seattle. My Can-Am is a 2008 Manual transmission , Is there anyway to pull up what the error code means. Every now and then when I am in reverse then drop into first gear the check engin light comes on and the nutral and reverse lights starts flashing. I just dont got the moneys to send it out and still have a month or 2 of riding befor winter.
