Default Anybody else seen the "E" message show up?

For reference--I ride an '09 SM5.
I went on a long ride a couple of weeks ago and toward the end of the ride, I had an "E" fault show up. When I would shift in to neutral the "N" would light up and then when I let out the clutch, it would lurch and die (it was clearly in 1st, not neutral--even though I had shifted properly and the "N" light was lit up). So I guess that was the error--it wouldn't go into neutral.
Anyway--I rode her home just fine (just stayed out of neutral), parked her, went on vacation for 10 days, came back, and now she's fine again. Weird. No issues at all now. Maybe she just got hot. I know my wife gets testy when she's burning up, so it may be the same for my "other" girl.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Thanks!!

Bummer...
This past week I've seen an "EBC Fault" pop up in the "Big Orange"
I also noticed at the same time that my Spyder wasn't dealing well with relasing and setting the parking brake... It'd go to a high idle and stall. I'd set the parking brake; see the indicator light on the display and shut things off to re-set... The parking brake alarm would go off!
It's been behaving in recent days, so I'm at a loss as far as what caused it since I didn't have enough time to track it down.
Oh... I did the "magic button" test to look for stored error codes and there wer none!
