Default RS-S Parking Brake Hard To Engage

My parking brake seems to be tough to engage on the slightest of incline/decline. I do have the "regular" brake engaged obviously since I'm on a slope. Is there a trick to doing this or some tweaking I can do? Thanks.

I have trouble disengaging mine... wish I could help; I'm going to hang out and watch for any answers.

Having just changed my rear brake pads to Gen 3s, I can tell you that the parking brake is adjustable... Take a peek under and behind the muffler and you'll see the rear brake caliper. That drum with the cable wrapping around it is the parking brake. follow that cable up over the top and toward the front of the bike a little bit and you'll see where there's a threaded adjustment for it... Make small changes and note what you did so that you can un-do it if necessary!

The parking brake on these bikes is horrible, I suggest only using it on a level surface, if you parking on any type of hill, put the front or rear tire into a curb or do what I do, carry a small wheel chock.

Go buy one of these
