Default Jack location??

So I used the search function and came up with nothing...

We have a 2011 RT-S SE5 and I'd like to stiffen up the front suspension. The manual tells you to jack up the front, BUT.... it doesn't specify WHERE to put the jack... What's that about? lol I looked under the nose and it's very plastickey looking so I'm leary of tossing a jack under the front center of the bike to lift it up...

So... where does the jack go? Any help would be appreciated!

cheers

I went back behind all of the plastic until I hit metal... I then put a nice big piece of plywood on the jack to spread out the lifting forces... No problems!

You can put a motorcycle jack in the front if you just want to lift the front end. put the jack at the back end of the skid plate. There is a heavy metal support. I have seen many people use this method. To adjust the shock. just raise the front end enough to take the pressure off the shock.
