Default Mirror placement

I've got a problem with the angle of my mirrors. Seems I can't get them to the right angle to see over my hands and handlebars. They move just fine to the left and right, but there's no way to move the assembly up and down. Tilting the mirror doesn't fix it.

Is there some sort of mirror assembly that is made to replace the stock pieces, or am I going to have to learn to lean just to see past my hands?

Thanks!

Hi
There certainly is - see ESI Cycle Products Up & Out Mirror Extensions
They work really well moving the mirror position out AND up.

In doing my research, I saw a review that said the person had to have their windshield cut to accommodate the mirror placement once they added the extensions.

Anyone else encounter this? The windshield I have on mine is the touring windshield, and is extended by the mirrors.

The old BRP touring one or the 'Ultra touring"? Easiest way is just to check to Evan at ESI.

I don't know, it was on her when I bought her. Will have to check the differences and figure it out before I contact them about it. Thanks, Martin!

Followed up with Evan at ESI. He tells me the mirror extensions will NOT work with my windshield. Glad you told me to check with him, Martin.

Any other ideas? Anyone?

There's another company providing mirror extensions, these are just straight out extensions with no uplift.

I haven't used them, and I've never dealt with this company but I'm sure there's someone you could talk to about compatibility with your windshield.

Can-Am Spyder Mirror Extensions - $79.95

UPDATE: Got an email back from the folks over at KewlMetal and their mirror extensions do work with the ultra touring windshield. Done and done. Thanks!
