BC Spyder owners

Hi all, I know there are more BC spyder riders out there besides me!! I just purchased my 1st Spyder yesterday and have only put about 25 km on it so far. looking forward to banging lots on it this summer!!

just bought the 2010 rt that was for sale at GVPS Ilangley) - I finalize the paperwork tomorrow - friday -then ride my vtx1300 over early saturday morning and shawn will switch me the rt for my vtx..... am so looking forward to this! I've found my vtx just to be too heavy for me to hold up while out riding - my legs are wobbly from meds I'm on - so safer on 3wheels - did a lot of research and this deal was too good to miss - so....... I'll be out and about all long weekend

I've seen 1 spyder on the road so far and I've been riding all over the lower mainland and fraser valley since I got my rt.... seen 1 in port moody and we both gave each other big waves as we passed in traffic. Is that it?? where is everyone??

looking forward to meeting some other spyder owners soon.

have put over a 1000kms on the rt since I got it last month and still not seen any other spyders other than the one mentioned above!! this morning I got all dressed up (4 layers) and ready to leave to go riding with a bunch of British Bikes and their owners only to get the rt down the driveway onto the street and huge clacking front end noises, no power and stuck in 1st gear - managed to nurse it around the cul-de-sac and back into the garage with multiple stalls - then had to wait for the dealer to open! strange the manual doesn't show the little spark plug icon in the malfunction list - which is what was showing on the top and bottom of the bar on the screen! I hadn't done anything to the bike since I got it - they told me it was serviced and would be good to go for the next 5000kms!!!!! had an excellent ride the day before - all day in fact - and now it's broke!!!

waiting on the tow company to call and come get it and take it back to GVPS to have them look at it.... grrrr is the only polite word I can use about now - at least with my honda I could pretty much figure out the issue (though I never had any!!)

guessing my season is done though! see the local people if there really are any - on the flip side of the riding season!!!
