Impressive Floto! Will pass on to my short friends. I'm intrigued by the brake system.
Don't know if this would work on your foot platform but you may want to look at toe cleat systems for high performance bicycles like the Shimano SPD cleat system. Haven't tried, but feature of holding foot securely may be worth considering, just not sure about release. Whatever - you're the brains!
